Hello, I am not totally certain I am in the right forum. If not then I do apologize.

I am a little concerned about some birth control issues. I have been on the pill for 4 years now... However there was about a week break after my last prescription ran out and when I got a new one. The second day back on the pill me and my boyfriend had intercourse, regretably unprotected. He did pull out, however I am thinking that maybe it was a little to late....maybe I am being paranoid. Just to be safe I didn't skip the following period like I usually do. I was 3days late and when I finally got it I had no cramps,it was much lighter, a brownish/red color, and had only really gone on for a day and a half and now it is just brown discharge. I am concerned that maybe I could be pregnant, but as mentioned before I may be paranoid because the 4 years ive been on the pill I have never been late or this light.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am trying to determine if I have any real reason to be concerned before I start my next pack.
